I have known most of these guys since high school and was super stoked to record them. They came in and nailed 5 songs in two days. I was stoked to expand my discography to pop punk music. PJ, Trevor and Jearsh were fucking awesome, the singer was a dick sometimes. he once said "you just don't understand what I am going for" to which i replied "uh, wanna be set your goals/new found glory?" Anyways with a little autotune we fixed him right up.
Fun Fact: Jearsh was supposed to take over drums for Hit or Miss but ended up not being able to play the last show, so our old drummer filled in for our fill in.
lyrics
If you get up and go
just let me know.
How many chances till we find this.
How many things are in our way.
How many times do you think
I'll repeat my mistakes.
What comes first
What can stay.
I'm always stress'n about this
but could you say you aren't
Sooner or later this will become a priority
As soon as possible
would be best.
But I know you've got a lot
on your plate.
Can't you see I'm busy
with a promise.
DON'T LET THIS SONG BE A LIE
I am getting tired.
I think I just need some sleep
to remember my priorities.
I'm not the guy you think I am
but there's plenty of room for change
where scars have been made.
Blame me for falling behind
and not catching on.
Say that I should have cared more
and did something about the problems.
Say that you're not
lying to yourself.
Give up
or
Give in
to the things you're making me sing about.
