5150 came into my basement studio back in 2013 on Yosemite Street and fucking killed it. They were by far the most solid band I had worked with at the time. They had a raw undefined sounds nobody else was doing at the time. Marcus and Kyle tracked all their songs in a hour and Gabe came in and tracked vocals perfectly and they even fucked around with a couple crazy noise pedals. In the downtime those dudes would play the house super nintendo and make weird noises with pedals. Was one of my favorite sessions to this day.
